Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, with a presence across Canada, Raytheon Canada Support Services (RCSS) has provided mission-critical support to Canada’s air, land and sea forces for more than 17 years.  Raytheon Canada’s core competencies (program management, supply chain management, repair and overhaul, integrated logistics support, engineering services and training support) deliver effective whole-life support of CF-18 avionics and armament systems, Army communication and electro-optical systems, Naval shipboard battlespace awareness and defence systems, and NORAD strategic battlespace awareness and control systems.

Program Management
Raytheon’s proprietary Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) is a crucial part of RCSS’ DNA which ensures a disciplined approach to managing all phases of a program’s life-cycle . Complemented with certification by the Project Management Institute and Canadian Institute of Management for each of our managers, we provide a repeatable, best-practice framework for programs of all complexity levels.

Raytheon Six Sigma (R6s) fosters continuous improvement to maximize efficiency and value for our customer, the Canadian Military.

Supply Chain Management
RCSS delivers a unique and innovative supply chain solution for CF-18 Avionics. We manage DND inventory from parts exchange at our on-base Supply Windows,  to our centralized warehouse in Calgary, then on to Raytheon and other OEMs for repairs. This approach has delivered unmatched operational availability, rapid turn-around times, and unmatched asset visibility throughout the inventory management process. Strong material planning services are central to the effective operation of our supply chain, and we routinely extend this expertise in support of our customer’s deployed operations.

Engineering Services
RCSS engineering processes are certified to a Capability Maturity Model Integration Level III, and we deliver systems, software, mechanical, electro-optical, digital and analog/RF engineering services in support of weapon, sensor, communication, simulator and test equipment systems. Naturally, any of Raytheon’s world-wide engineering and technical disciplines can be brought to bear through RCSS when required.

Integrated Logistics Support
RCSS provides the full range of Integrated Logistics Services including:  Logistics support analysis (LSA), obsolescence management (OM), configuration management, training development and delivery, and technical publications. Active application of LSA and OM services on all of our programs improves our supply chain efficiency by reducing spares and life-cycle costs to ensure system supportability long into the future.

Providing technical publications and training tailored to the unique requirements of our Canadian customer remains a crucial RCSS service offering. We provide this service through our in-house expertise or work with industry partners to deliver the right mix of Technical content and Delivery systems. RCSS is the Services and Support division of Raytheon Canada Limited (RCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company. RCL serves the defence, security and aerospace sectors with a broad range of high-technology products and services and employs 1,500 people across Canada.
