The Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is the Government of Canada’s defence and security export sales organization. Established in 1946, CCC is mandated to assist in the development of trade between Canada and other nations. We do this by helping Canadian exporters access government procurement markets of other nations through government to government contracting. CCC takes the role as prime contractor and offers a Government of Canada assurance of contract performance.

CCC’s business model is focused principally on assisting Canadian companies compete globally and secure sales in defence and security markets. CCC assists Canadian companies to compete for contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) through the privileged access they have by virtue of the Canada-U.S. Defence Production Sharing Agreement. Building on the Corporation’s experience selling to the U.S. DoD, CCC also supports exports beyond the U.S., assisting Canadian defence and security exporters with sales to allied and like-minded nations. Contracts signed in Argentina, Australia, Colombia, Mexico, Norway, Peru, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia are the result of CCC’s targeted global defence and security sales strategy.

Why do Canadian exporters choose CCC?
• Access to foreign government decision-makers
• Competitive advantage of government-to-government approach
• Reduction of risk
• Accelerated transaction time
