CAE – training for civil and uniformed sectors

Apr 04, 2016

CAE is a global leader in the delivery of training for the defence and security, civil aviation and healthcare markets. We design and integrate the industry’s most comprehensive training solutions, anchored by the knowledge and expertise of our 8,000 employees worldwide, approximately 4,000 of which are here in Canada. Our global presence is the broadest in the industry, with 160 sites and training locations in 35 countries where the company trains more than 120,000 civil and military crewmembers yearly.

In Canada, CAE shares a common history with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) tracing back to World War II, when under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP) Canada trained over 130,000 aircrew personnel from allied forces. Today, CAE continues Canada’s longstanding training tradition across the air, land, sea and public safety market segments. We now provide live flying training and help produce next-generation fighter pilots for the RCAF and NATO allies through the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) program. We are leading a pursuit to provide the Canadian Forces with a next-generation aggressor air training capability for the Contracted Airborne Training Services (CATS) program.

CAE is uniquely qualified as a training systems integrator to provide turnkey training solutions. We offer a systemic approach to a full-spectrum live-virtual-constructive (LVC) training enterprise that covers academic/classroom training, self-paced learning, simulation-based training and live training, all connected within an integrated learning environment. We also provide operational systems, advanced systems integration including human factors solutions, and in-service and integrated logistics support on platforms and subsystems. We stand ready to provide next generation naval training systems for Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) with our proven capabilities. Our vision is to be Canada’s partner of choice to help enhance safety, improve efficiency, and maintain readiness.
