The list of recent leadership changes in industry and government includes:

Carl Daniels has recently left QRA Corp to take on exciting new challenges as Chief Operating Officer at CarteNav Solutions.
After 18 years at Lockheed Martin’s RMS Division working Int’l Naval Programs, (and leading their International Cyber efforts in the last two years), Dan Seamans is now Senior BD Manager, Strategy, at Raytheon Integrated Defense and will focus on naval solutions.

There are a few additions at ADGA Group these days:

Karen Ellis has recently joined ADGA’s Strategic Advisory Council. Her many senior roles in public service include ADM at Veterans Affairs, Assistant Commissioner for Ontario, Canada Revenue Agency, Associate DM at NRCan, and other notable appointments.

Danny Crossman has been selected as Vice-President, Defence at ADGA Group. His more than 25 years of executive and management experience in Defence and Security includes positions at Thales Canada, Rheinmetall Canada, Pacific Safety Products, Med-Eng Systems and as CEO of Impakt Protective Inc.
Alan Stephenson is now a Senior Associate at David Pratt & Associates.
After 12 years at Hill+Knowlton, Goldy Hyder has been selected as President & CEO at the non-profit Business Council of Canada.
Arriving from Australia as the new President of Ultra Electronics (Maritime Systems), Bernard Mills has replaced Leo Gaesler who retired. Ken Walker also retired from Ultra.
In October, after 2.5 years as Program Manager of its Vessel Replacement Program, Dan Riis was promoted as Director of Fleet Engineering at BC Ferries.
Rear-Admiral (ret) John Newton, who retired in June after 35 years of service in the Canadian Navy, takes on the challenges of Managing Director at Fleetway Inc.
Richard Bertrand, formerly from Pratt & Whitney Canada and then Tactix, is the new owner at JRB Kanata Group.
Former Canadian infantry officer with seven years of management positions at DND, Simon Parker has been selected as the new Senior Risk Officer at Ashbury College in Ottawa.
Former New Brunswick MLA Brian Macdonald (previously security advisor to Defence Minister Peter MacKay), is starting a new position as Director of Enterprise Crisis Management at Scotiabank.
Ben Rowswell has been chosen as the new President and Research Director of the Canadian International Council. Rowswell’s diplomatic experi­ence, including missions from Afghanistan to Venezuela, will benefit CIC as it runs events to advance constructive dialogue on global affairs.
Patrick B. Mann, President of Patlon Aircraft & Industries, was recently elected as Chair of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) Board of Directors. President Jim Quick officially welcomed Patrick to his new role at the AGM in November. Mr. Mann succeeds Cynthia Garneau, President of Bell Helicopter Textron Canada.
Former CADSI Manager of Operations Andrea Walton is now an independent contractor providing bookkeeping, administrative services, and financial reporting for small and medium enterprises. Reach her at [email protected]
Former British infantry officer (parachute regiment) and Founding Partner at Berlineaton, Richard H. Eaton has started a new position as Associate Faculty Member at Royal Roads University.
